John's current research project involves managing network resources using 
agents in a TCP/IP over ATM environment.  He has 
investigated emerging agent languages, such as Telescript, and 
regularly applies the results of his inquiries to on-going ATI research 
projects.  He has studied in Berlin at the Technische
Universtitaet, where he took a course offered by the GMD and TU on 
Intelligent Agents, which led to his interest in broadband networking, 
autonomous agents, and TCP/IP over ISDN for multiple platforms.
