I am interested in the potentiality of autonomous migrating agents with bilateral linguistic and iconic capabilities. In general terms, such mobile agents operate with natural language, look for NL information at sites to which dispatched or located and deposit same. Natural language in the sense intended refers primarily to verbal language, and iconic information refers to image information in image form. The scientific and engineering challenges of such agent capabilities raise significant questions of theory and practice.
