Bits & Pixels publishes a Java agent library and is creating products based on software agents.

Prior to starting Bits & Pixels, I was the network management architect for Southwestern Bell. I also was the founding chair of the Network Management group for SONET networks, an industry group with over sixty participating companies.

My research work in agents relate to the use of neural networks for filtering news. I have built electronic newspapers for Nynex, Dow Jones and for Southwestern Bell. I have also used neural network agents for filtering alarms in SONET networks.

I have held various industrial and academic appointments. My educational background is in Recursive Functions and Game Theory and I have a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of California at Berkely.
