One of the projects we are working on is called the CADETT Agent-based Personal Training Assistant (CAPTA). Our goal is to demonstrate the efficacy of autonomous agent technology in targeting precision searches of the Internet's many resources (WWW, ftp, gopher, listservs, newsgroups, etc.) for use in generating individualized training plans for entry level and displaced workers in the manufacturing arena. We are collaborating with the University of Pennsylvania's National Center for Adult Literacy (NCAL) and Lockheed Martin's Advanced Software Research Group in Paoli, PA. We are working with Don Mckay's group, including Bob Smith and Cathy Harkins, in Paoli.
