David French is currently Director of Intelligent Agent Development Team  
at FTP Software. He is responsible for the marketing and technical  
strategy of FTP's Java based mobile agent technology.  He received a BS  
of Electrical Engineering in 1975 from the University of New Hampshire.  
He is interested in network centric computing and distributed processing  
techniques.  He designed and developed real time operating systems for  
fault tolerant networking products at Racal Interlan before joining FTP.  
Earlier work included design and development of distributed processing  
systems for graphic rendering products, as well as, motor control  
algorithms for high speed transport mechanisms.
