Linda F. Wilson recently joined the faculty of the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College. She received her B.S. degree in mathematics from Duke University and her M.S.E. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. From 1994 to 1996, she was a Staff Scientist at the Institute for Computer Applications in Science and Engineering (ICASE) at the NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, VA. She is currently studying various performance issues in distributed computing.
