Roger is a research officer with the SPIN group at NRC. He is one of the main designers and implementors of Seamless Messaging. Before joining SPIN he was a member of the Software Engineering Lab at NRC where he was responsible for the interoperability of a network of multi-platform devices and their software. At NRC he has had significant experience in high performance computing and simulation in computational chemistry. He has a PhD. from Cambridge University, England and a BSc. from the Uinversity of Sussex in Brighton, England. He joined NRC in 1982.
