I currently am Visiting Research Professor of Engineering at the Thayer School at Dartmouth College. My principal current research involves the theory and implementation of natural language message handling systems in an environment compatible with Agent Tcl. I am also doing research on biomedical image analysis using advanced mathematical techniques for modeling and extracting information from the information-bearing image signals. It is possible to relate both types of research to the use of facilitating autonomous, mobile agents. I am also supervising undergraduate and graduate research in computer science (advanced computer systems and computational linguistics).
