Lab 0

This assignment gets MySQL and MySQL Workbench installed and takes care of some bureaucratic items. MySQL is the database engine we will use in CS61. MySQL Workbench provides a graphical user interface to interact with a MySQL database installation.

Exercises

1. Take the course survey — link posted on the Lab0 assignment on Canvas.
2. Install MySQL and MySQL Workbench on your computer as described on the Software page.
3. Create a connection from MySQL Workbench to the MySQL database on your computer (localhost).
4. Read and acknowledge the course policies.
