Slides and Notes

While most of our work will be done on the board in class, we may occasionally use slides for some of the material, and we may occasionally cover a topic very differently from its treatment in the two textbooks. In such cases, the schedule table will include links to slides and/or lecture notes (as appropriate).

Some Definitions

A collection of key definitions, notations, and conventions that may differ from one or both of the recommended textbooks. Studying and using these (overriding whatever the textbooks say) is crucial.
